Wanderlust Things: Unicorn Face Makeup Brushes

Hola!! This purple-ish post will be filled with unicorn-inspired make up brushes from Wanderlust Things! As you might have known, I got this very very girlish, dreamy unicorn Face Makeup Brushes thanks to the Butterfly Project during their 4th Birthday celebration. I even make a video of unboxing what do I have in the goodie bag.

Hence, am going to talk about 2 things in this post.

1. My thought on the make up brushes

2. Wanderlust Things
(Seriously, their website is so pretty , and selling really wanderlust-y things that you cannot miss! I am even thinking to buy their ice-cream bag or not. Will talk more later. )

These brushes really fulfill the craving of my inner girl la , not only of it rainbow appearance, but it is also fully-functional and the bristle doesn't take off easily, as you can see from the photo above. The bristle is soft and it is gentle while swiping it on my face too!

The price of this 5-piece Unicorn Face Makeup Brush set is Rm 89. It comprises of powder brush, foundation brush, contour brush, highlight brush (the smallest one) and blush brush.

I did an unboxing video here, and talked about the Makeup brushes too (starting from at 6.21 mins)

This one is actually cream foudation brush, but who cares, I use it to higlight too!

The unicorn-ly rainbow colour bristle is a love at first sight. Do you feel the same too? Fret not, no unicorn was harmed in the making of the makeup brushes. If you are looking for eye brushes. there is another set of eye brushes available at Rm 89 too.

So here's the good news for all of you who reading this! You can get 10% discount by merely quote "BUTTERFLY 56" if you want to own them! Seriously, 10% means a lot though, by using the quote you can get it at Rm 80.10. Not only that,  you can buy anything on wanderlust things but not only limited to the brushes, okay~~

And the second thing is you cannot NOT Visiting their site if you are a wanderlust or if you have soft spot for beautiful vanity like me. One of the best items from Wanderlust Things is their mermaid blanket. So vain, yet so in love with it! Not only that, check out their website. For a very long time, I like every SINGLE item sold inside , which is why I reckon you should visit too, since you already spend time to read up to this point, hahaha.

Their homepage.

The reason that I feature their homepage here in my blog because their homepage already calling the inner girl in me, and I literally click on every single link there. Luckily there are not so much pages. Mainly it's photos and the blog part.

I would see wanderlust is a Japanese shop if I didn't know they are from Malaysia. Because mostly Japanese pay extra effort to produce extricate scissors like this!

Wanderlust Things give me a feeling that they are selling functional things with the vanity are being taken into serious consideration too. Don't you think so? The things are the things I would source from if I am going to have my own workplace because of the same reason.

This notice-me handbag would simply caught anyone's attention. Even when you put on the plain-est mono-colour t-shirt on you. It will still shine like a diamond.

Apparently one of their best selling. Mermaid blanket at Rm 89 too.

That's it for the wanderlust things exploration. You can always go to their site for more visual indulgence or purchase from them to make it your own. Til then! Don't forget to watch my video too!

The Taste of Malaysia @Teluk Intan

Teluk Intan is our hometown. Every year we never fail to celebrate Chinese New year in Teluk Intan instead of our living town. Whenever we go to Teluk Intan, we always go for local delicacies hunting. This include the famous Chu Cheong Fan, Ais Kacang, and Chaw Kuey Tiaw, mainly 3 of them are the most anticipated.

This Raya, we spent our holiday here in Teluk Intan too. And it was so coincidentally we came across this foodfair while going to 58 stalls, a popular hawker center that is not a stranger to the local.

The food fair - The Taste of Malaysia is a food fair that will go for a nation parade every weekend. It  lasted for 3 days from Fri to Sunday (23-25th June 2017). And apparently, there are going to Sungai Petani Kedah next week! (30th June - 2 July). It approximately host 30 stalls at the food fair.

What makes this food fair extra special was the venue it took place. The place it held was the place where my dearest dad received his primary education. So we took the chance to visit the food fair and our dad's Alma Mater.

All the food there look so delicious and appealing at the first glimpse, probably because we were hungry at the time too, but it was a tad bit expensive you could hardly find Rm 5 and below.

Cheese Tart Rm 4 each

I was elated to see Lava Cheese Tart at the food fair! All of them are cheese in the centre but different for the topping. I bought their signature Crispy Lava Cheese, Fruit topping and Caramel topping.

Giant French Fries with Cheese topping  Rm 10

Frankly, the size of the french fries was a signature gimmick to attract so much of customers. But it is actually normal french fries drizzle is not so concentrated mozarella cheese on top. Both my sister and me didn't think it deserve Rm 10 lo~~~

Being the giant size french fries as a gimmick aside, I shouldn't miss the chance to take a photo of it. And at the back with four Mandarin characters literally means " Love me San Min" (The name of the school is San Min Primary School).

I was so hyped up to find Ramen in the food fair!  It cost Rm 12 per bowl. But it was mediocre to me. For a ramen person like me, I could instantly know that the ramen soup doesn't boil me pork bone. But my parents generally it approve it...hmmm....

See. this is the examplary food that sell Rm 5 and above. It was appetizing anyway. Would recommend you to try on it.

The youngest duo in the  their father's Alma Mater. And the happening trading scene at the back.

Coconut icecream. Rm 8 for a bowl. 3 scoops of white coconut ice-cream served with roasted peanut, sweet corn and coconut sugar.

My family member voted the coconut ice-cream being the best choice of all, which is even better than the one in Chatucak Market. It's their opinion anyway, cause I still favour the one in Chatucak Market as it serve with more coconut flesh and fresh coconut juice.

Some of the food we bought before devouring them.

That face of my sis who looks like Food Critic, haha. and Food ambassador too.

At the end of the Food Fair,  there was a lucky draw for the visitors who spend more than Rm 10 and above. There was around 20 hampers were given away,

The organiser, The taste of Malaysia 舌尖上的大马美食 also donated Rm 2500 to the San Min Primary School as a token of appreciation for the venue sponsor and also for the good cause of education fund!Big thumbs up for that!
The lady in the photo is the current principle of the San Min Primary School

There is no FB page of this event at the time of writing so I can't link you can facebook page for more infor. If you happen to know more infor about this event, or about the organiser, feel free to PM or comment at the bottom here.
And the grand prize being the 32' plasma TV was chosen by lucky draw by throwing the lucky draw paper in the air~~ LOL .Congratulations to the lucky winner who walked away with the plasma TV!

Alright, so there is a little infor about the The Taste of Malaysia Food Fair. Ended this special food fair post with my family photo in Teluk Intan San Min Primary School! It's a very2 rare chance for all of us working and studying apart to reunited here in this raya season, hehe. (A bit too much of personal, but well~~~  I am so proud of my family members. )

I entered late into the hall, hence I couldn't capture from the nice angle. Thank you Freda Foong for allowing me to use her video here~~
Kittie Yiyi’s collection is inspired by an cheerful , infectious beach girl. Hence you could see flowly, carefree comfy loose-fitting which bring out the cheerful in you. and her notice-me vibrant colour featuring flared silhouettes, ruffles , stripes flaunts the beach girl's confidence with her youthful, transparent details.

Kittie Yiyi's  collection clearly demonstrate her motto “Whatever you decide to wear, make sure it makes you happy!” which is also what the No 1. Dermatologist recommended brand, Neutrogena trying to advocate- Happy Skin 24/7 with Neutrogena.

I like this letter-pattern off-shoulder top + matching long pants the most! As much as the apparel is not as colour as the rest, It exudes a steady flow of confidence, showing your skinny silhouette.

Hazzer’s fashion collection is inspired by the dynamic movement of  water splash. It is created to symbolise the idea of Neutrogena Deep Clean range of cleansing product. Hazzer's collection incorporate  fluid lines, cascading layers to bring out the beauty and the water dynamic in the colour of blue, green, orange and pink. It were all such a delicate, and careful piece of design. Exuding inner strength inside out which closely related to the beauty skin inside out of Neutrogena skincare products too.

Blog detox: My current Face & Lips mask collection

Growing up, the first skincare that I knew how to use is cleanser. and the next thing I knew is MASK. ,face mask. I still remember the first mask that I use was the move rave mask from Taiwan, My Beauty Diary. I used if regularly, as more than more variant of masks are coming out. I started to try on them.

Even though up to this day, I already have a consideration of skin care products. Mask still remain essential in my skin care collection. I love to use mask especially when I feel stress, or when I go on vacation. Because it does calm down my skin which get dry as the environment changes.

Always bring along the duo whenever I am on vacation. It secures my face and lips.
